First Advantage is continuing to monitoring the ever-changing Brexit circumstances.
As a service delivery provider, First Advantage has limited exposure to the possible consequences of a deal or a no-deal scenario. The industries impacted most are those which import/export physical goods to and/or from the UK.
First Advantage made the decision in 2017 to establish its data centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Therefore, we don’t anticipate any impact on the physical hosting of the data. It will remain in the EU and the UK has adopted the same GDPR and data privacy regulations.
Despite the location of our data centre, we are also updating our Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) template for those customers who have entered into an agreement with First Advantage Europe Ltd. (our UK entity) and who wish to sign SCCs with us if they have not already. Please contact your Customer Success Manager if you’d like to do this.
Due to the nature of our international customers, First Advantage employs people from all over Europe in the UK. Our multi-lingual colleagues work in Operations and Customer Care. The current situation is that their working eligibility is unchanged.
