UK Modern Slavery Act Transparency Statement
First Advantage’s UK Modern Slavery Act Transparency Statement
As one of the largest workplace human resource screening providers in the world, First Advantage has offices in 25 locations across 15 countries worldwide and conducts over 55 million international background screens annually to 19 million applicants. Our solutions cater to organizations of all sizes and locations, providing a true global reach with local insight.
First Advantage recognizes its responsibility, as a global corporate citizen, to give back to and produce an enduring, positive impact on the communities in which we operate. This commitment to corporate social responsibility encompasses everything from ensuring the dignified treatment of employees without discrimination to establishing solid corporate governance. These principles are memorialized in our Global Code of Conduct.
First Advantage has also established a Code of Business Conduct by which we require our vendors to maintain a work place that is free from forced, bonded, indentured or involuntary labor and specifically requires compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. As we look ahead, it is our goal that each and every vendor around the globe be contractually committed to comply with the principles set forth in the Code of Business Conduct. In addition, every new vendor is vetted through our comprehensive Supplier Relationship Management Program process which requires all prospective suppliers/vendors to agree to the prohibitions against using forced labor.
The UK Modern Slavery Act Transparency Statement has been duly approved and adopted by the First Advantage Privacy and Security Compliance Organization and will be reviewed and updated annually.
